Edinburgh Airport

Edinburgh is Scotland’s busiest airport, servicing around 9 million passengers each year. The airport is located in Ingliston, just over 6 miles from the city centre. From Edinburgh Airport you can fly to various destinations in Europe, Canada, the Middle East and the United States, although some of these are based on seasonality, as well as domestically. Some of the main airlines that service the airport include Air France, British Airways and United Airlines. Etihad is set to begin flights to Abu Dhabi from Edinburgh in 2015.

Glasgow Airport

Another option for flights from Scotland is Glasgow International Airport, which operated around 200 flights a day to over 90 destinations worldwide. The airport is located around 4 miles from the city and is easily accessed via the Glasgow Shuttle. From the airport you can fly to various destinations with Europe as well as Dubai with Emirates, Newark with United Airlines and seasonally to Las Vegas and Orlando with Virgin Atlantic.
