London Heathrow

Most long-haul international flights will depart from London Heathrow, the busiest airport in the UK. Each year the airport flies 90 million passengers to over 170 destinations, that’s more international travellers than any other airport. Premium Airlines such as Etihad, Delta, Virgin Atlantic, and Qantas operate departures from terminals 1-4, while British Airways occupies the brand new Terminal 5. London Heathrow is on the Piccadilly Line and is also serviced by Heathrow Express.

London Gatwick

Serving on average 30 million passengers every year - travelling to over 200 destinations - London Gatwick is the 2nd busiest airport in London and 6th busiest in the world. Gatwick’s North and South Terminals are the departure points for a variety of airlines, including British Airways , Virgin Atlantic, and Emirates, in addition to low cost carriers such as easyJet. Located approximately 28 miles south of Central London, Gatwick airport is well connected via the Gatwick Express Train.

London Stansted

The third busiest airport in London, London Stansted is an international airport mainly used by low cost carriers such as EasyJet and Ryanair. It is located 30 miles northeast of Central London with train transportation available from Liverpool Street in London, Cambridge, Peterborough, Leicester and Birmingham New Street.

London Luton

Luton Airport is the fourth busiest airport in London, located Borough of Luton in Bedfordshire. The airport is mainly used for flights within Europe by airlines such as EasyJet and Ryanair. The airport can be accessed via the Midland Main Line train from London St Pancras Station.

London City

London City Airport is located near Canary Wharf in the Borough of Newman. Predominantly used for business travel, the airport hosts a number of British Airways flights to New York, Scotland and various cities in Europe, as well as flights operated by Air France, Lufthansa and Swiss European Air Lines.

Southend

Once one of London’s main international airports, Southend Airport in Rochford, Essex is now predominantly used by EasyJet for flights within Europe and Aer Lingus for regional flights.
