Last week we invited you to take part in our June #FCExperts Twitter chat, which was on the topic of all-American travel. On Thursday afternoon a number of you joined us on Twitter to chat about your USA bucket lists and to share your tips and experiences.
We’ve pulled together the highlights of last week’s chat, so even if you weren’t able to make it you can still see all the best moments from the hour. Thanks to everyone who got involved, and we look forward to announcing the date and topic for July’s #FCExperts Twitter chat soon.
Question one: ‘If you could only visit one destination in the USA, where would you go?’
— Michael A Hill (@mapsillustrated) June 26, 2014
An unusual choice Michael, but we’re sure there is more to see here than Breaking Bad suggests!
Question two: ‘This could be divisive: east coast or west coast USA – which is better?’
We don’t think we could choose either Trudee, but we do agree that New England is beautiful!
Thanks for sharing this spectacular map, Michael.
Question three: ‘What is the one all-American experience all first-time visitors should try?’
Food was definitely the experience of choice according to our Twitter chat participants!
Question four: ‘Have you visited the states? What was the most American thing you did? Share photos!’

We loved reading your blog post Catherine!
And finally, it was time for question five: ‘What factors should be considered when choosing where in the USA to visit?’
@FlightCentre_UK who to take with you lol, don’t wanna be stuck miles away with a moaning Minnie! Lol xx

We agree – who you travel with can make or break a trip, no matter where you’re going.
Thanks again to everyone who could make it last Thursday. And for anyone who wasn’t able to be there, keep an eye out for announcements about our next #FCExperts Twitter chat!
