Great news! We’re delighted to announce that Flight Centre has become the very first travel retailer to be Reader Recommended by the Good Housekeeping Institute (GHI), with particularly high scores for customer service and value for money.
The results came from a panel of Good Housekeeping readers who have booked a holiday or flights through Flight Centre during the last two years.
All participants stated Flight Centre offers good value for money, while 98% stated they would recommend us to a friend and 96% of people rated the overall customer service they received as ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’.
Good Housekeeping readers were also asked to describe their Flight Centre experience, with one reader noting that we offered “friendly service, provided what we wanted, and put a bit of graft into it”.
Another panellist, who has been using Flight Centre for many years, said “prices are very competitive” and appreciated that “the agent knows our likes and dislikes”.
When devising the questionnaire, GHI focused on four main areas – performance, overall acceptability, propensity to use again and whether they would recommend Flight Centre to friends.
The panel was drawn from an extensive database of 14,000 readers that tested the Flight Centre service under the guidance and experts at the GHI. Testing protocols and feedback questionnaires were also developed by the GHI.
“We are incredibly proud to be named the very first travel retailer to be GHI Reader Recommended,” Alison Zacher, Retail Managing Director, Flight Centre UK, said.
“We work tirelessly to ensure we offer fantastic value for money and a personal and informed customer service. The figures presented by GHI highlight that our dedication and hard work is valued by our customers.”
