#FlightSanta Gives its Last Gift to one Lucky Couple

December 21, 2015 by Alexandra Gregg

Christmas is upon us! And as usual in December, we at Flight Centre are feeling particularly festive. In fact, something thoroughly jolly has happened: we’ve transformed into ‘Flight SANTA’ in honour of the season and, with the help of our elves (i.e. our dedicated Travel Experts), we’ve been busy posting out a sack-full of presents to our most loyal customers.

We’re talking guidebooks for journey prep, crates of beer for trip-toasting, and a photo frame for immortalising those holiday memories.

Thanking our customers one gift at a time, that's #FlightSanta

One final gift

While our Travel Experts had fantastic stories to share about their customers, we were particularly touched by the story of Ruth Ringwood’s customers the Harveys, who have been booking their trips to Australia with her at our Flight Centre Bromley store for over 10 years. Sadly a few years ago Mr Harvey was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Alzheimer’s is a cause that is very close to us at Flight Centre, so much so that the Alzheimer’s Society is our charity of the year.

To help ensure their Christmas would be a memorable one, we invited them in-store to surprise them with a gift…

The Harveys have since flown to Perth in Australia with Qatar Airways to spend Christmas with their family.

We’re all about giving back to our customers, just like Mr and Mrs Harvey, and with the help of #FlightSanta we’re well on our way to spreading the festive cheer in 2015. So, if this video doesn’t say it enough, we’d like to wish all our customers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the Flight Centre (or rather, #FlightSanta) team!
