Each week we feature a fantastic deal to a destination we think you’ll love. Now we’re letting you choose where that destination should be.
You voted, so this week’s Deal of the Week is for the liberal and architecturally-rich city of Amsterdam (two nights from £199 including flights). And now it’s time to vote for next week’s options. This time, we’ve got three great European cities to choose from: Venice, Lille and Stockholm. The destination with the most votes on Facebook at 9am on Monday 12 November will become next week’s Deal of the Week! So head on over to Facebook and tell us where you think it should be!
Option 1: Venice
Elegant Venetian buildings and palaces peer over the ancient maze of narrow streets and labyrinth of canals that make up this unique city. Tourists naturally flock to Venice to experience its inimitable charm. The downside of this can be felt in the narrow streets and cramped piazzas of its sought-after areas. A good way to get to know a more personal side of Venice is to saunter through its romantic back streets and residential quarters. Don’t miss the paint-box coloured buildings of nearby Burano, where the buildings are so dazzlingly bright it’s hard to believe they’re real!

Option 2: Lille
Is it French or is it Flemish? It’s hard for the visitor to decide when visiting Lille, which has been officially part of France for 350 years but still at its core retains the ambience of the medieval wool towns of Flanders. The historic core of Vieux Lille is filled with grand architecture and cobble-stoned streets and squares, with a ‘Grand Place’ reminiscent of both Brussels and Amsterdam. The best thing about Lille is that its local populace is not only welcoming, but adept at enjoying life, as can be witnessed by visiting any of the many bars and bistros in this fun city.
Option 3: Stockholm
Stockholm is not only Scandinavia’s largest city but also its most enchanting, with its centuries-old alleyways and squares being spread across an archipelago of 14 islands. Locals are extremely proud of the fact that here one can go ocean-fishing in the heart of the city. This historic metropolis with a small town heart is packed with museums, restaurants, parks, fun fairs, a never-ending nightlife (licensing hours extend until 5am) and a rich cultural tradition.
