NEW – You decide our Deals of the Week

October 18, 2012 by Flight Centre UK

Each week we feature a fantastic deal to a destination we think you’ll love. Now we’re letting you choose where that destination should be.

What would YOU like to see as our deal of the week? Each week, we’ll give you four great options, each offering an entirely different travel experience. You can vote for your favourite destination on Facebook – and the destination with the most votes will become the next Deal of the Week. We’ll go off and source a great package with an irresistible price for the destination you want most.

So where should our first customer-determined Deal of the Week be? This week the choices are pretty tempting – head on over to Facebook to vote and the destination with the most votes by 9am GMT Monday 22 October will become the Deal of the Week that goes live on Thursday.

Option 1: Barcelona

Gaudi Park, Barcelona

The enchanting city of Barcelona is a visual delight, and has an atmosphere that combines elegance and sophistication with provincial charm. In exploring its streets you’ll discover medieval romance in its Gothic quarter and the awe-inspiring delights of the fantastic and sometimes outrageous Art Nouveau architecture of Gaudi and his contemporaries.

Option 2: Tenerife

Teresitas beach, Tenerife

The largest of the Canary Islands and a firm favourite among British holiday-makers, Tenerife has everything a traveller could want: from golden sandy beaches, to exotic forests, soaring mountains and rolling deserts. It’s a beach-goer’s, scuba-diver’s, hiker’s, mountain-biker’s and desert-lover’s dream. Or, if you simply enjoy a good book on the beach under the sun, Tenerife is great for that too.

Option 3: Prague

Prague at Christmas

The Czech Republic’s capital and international showpiece, Prague is one of the most popular destinations in Eastern Europe. Its attraction lies in the physical beauty of the city with 600 years of architecture amazingly untouched by war. The centre has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it demands to be explored on foot, an entire outdoor museum of history and a haphazard mixture of splendid architecture.

Option 4: Boston

Beacon Hill, Boston

Boston‘s streets are meandering paths that lend it a compact European feel and make it an ideal city to explore on foot. The Freedom Trail is a four kilometre walk that takes you past the city’s historic landmarks, charting its growth from a 17th Century fishing port to the thriving metropolis it is today. Take a leisurely stroll through Boston Common before perusing the wonderful shopping and dining options that abound at Quicey’s Market.

This week’s Deal of the Week could have you rummaging for Christmas presents at the world’s largest market – Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar, with 4 nights, 4* including direct flights just £299.
