I've seen a fair chunk of the world including spending time in India, Nepal, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand, Chile, a bit of America and the Caribbean as well as much of Europe, Turkey and Morocco.

Beach No 9, on Havelock Island, India has got to be my favourite, as its heaven on earth and utterly unspoilt. My favourite city is Istanbul because it’s beautiful and relaxed, and you can see its 3,000 year history everywhere.

My strangest travel moment so far is watching water buffalo fighting in Western Sumatra, especially when no one seemed to know what to do when one of the buffalo gave up and ran away!

I'm originally from South Africa and have travelled through most of Southern Africa, Mozambique, Botswana, East Africa, Western Europe, Sweden and Czech Republic. I've also been to Australia, New Zealand, USA (LA, New York, Hawaii), Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Dubai, Egypt, Morocco and India.

My travel highlights was staying in a Luxury Lodge in the middle of the Okavango Delta, and being guided through the water channels in a 'Mokoro', a traditional canoe, observing the wilderness and sipping on fresh water through a stem of a lily. I also loved Rajasthan, eating Indian cuisine and being treated like royalty whist staying in an Indian palace.

I've been fortunate enough to experience quite a bit of what the world has to offer, from glacial mountains to African plains; from sprawling cities to deserted beaches. I've stayed in every type of accommodation from hostels to five star boutique hotels; and used every type of transport from planes and trains to elephants and tuk-tuks to get me there.

I've visited Canada, America, the Pacific Islands, Australia and New Zealand.  I've travelled extensively throughout Asia and Europe and have also spent some time in Southern and Eastern Africa. 

My travel highlights include sharing a meal with Masai warriors on the overnight train from Nairobi to Mombasa.

Although I was born in Kenya, grew up in the Middle East, and have lived in the UK... I call myself Australian. I have spent most of the last 10 years travelling in Latin America, Australia, South East Asia, and Europe - from the fjords of Norway to the Catacombs of Rome.

If I had to pick one highlight, it would be waking up in a Costa Rican beach hut with baby monkeys on my balcony! If I could go around the world leaving tomorrow my journey would have to include the Trans Siberian Railway, the Cherry Blossom festival in Japan, and of course Sydney, my home city!

I'm originally from Brazil, born in Minas Gerais State, but was lucky enough to spend most of my life in Rio de Janeiro.

My travel experiences includes the USA, New York, San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon; Canada, Vancouver & Toronto/Niagara Falls; Argentina, Buenos Aires; Chile, Santiago; backpacking all over the south of Peru to reach the ancient site of Machu Picchu and of course Brazil, Paraty, Ilha Grande, Salvador, Florianopolis, Recife, historic cities of Minas Gerais (Outro Preto, Tiradentes, Sao Joao Del Rei).

So far, my favourite place is definitely Machu Picchu. It's just breathtaking and unexplainable.

Sabine Majdalani-Moeller

I was born in Lebanon and spent most of my life in Germany. Since then I have travelled a lot and seen a big part of Europe, from Lithuania, Prague down to Turkey and Greece. I have also been to Vancouver Island, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Dubai, Oman Sri Lanka and Mauritius. I have driven the West Coast of Florida and from San Francisco down to San Diego, including the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas.

My craziest adventure was a looping flight in a 2 seated military plan in Lithuania. I have experienced amazing beaches in the Maldives, and my favourite travel memory has to be my safari in Kenya.

I am originally from Romania (Transylvania) and have lived in the UK for 20 years. I have travelled extensively to over 40 countries from backpacking to the most remote places like Komodo Island in Indonesia, trekking through Sumatra Jungle and Flores, Andes, Atlas and Carpathian Mountains, travelling on Patagonian Express in Argentina, Brazil, steam trains in Paraguay, South Africa, Botswana and Zambia Safari to luxury holidays, in Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, USA, French Polynesia (Bora Bora, Moreea Tahiti). Also Canada, Morocco, Sri Lanka and Caribbean.

My best experiences were sleeping with Komodo Dragons and climbing the Child of Krakatao Vulcano.
