South African Airways Premium Class

SAA is proud to introduce its new Airbus A340-600s alternating with the A340-300e on its London route by November 2nd. The Airbus Premium class combines the very best of both First and Business class and includes the airline’s award winning, 73” seat pitch, fully lie-flat 180-degree seat. The 24” wide bed, with articulating armrests, is set within an ultra modern shell, with privacy screen, allowing travellers a perfect night’s sleep on our daily overnight direct services from London to Johannesburg and Cape Town. Each aircraft has a 2-2-2 abreast configuration with bigger touch screens, offering you a choice of 15 blockbuster movies, onboard telephone links and PC power points. Customers are able to choose from a world class menu designed by celebrity chefs and complimented with the finest award winning South African wines.
Premium class passengers also have access to a fully complimentary personal chauffeur drive service from anywhere within a 55mile radius of most UK airports. Upon arrival, you will swiftly make your way through the dedicated, priority check-in area and are then able to enjoy your African experience within the tastefully themed Baobab Departures Lounge. The lounge which boasts a serviced bar and fully equipped business centre exudes the warmth of Africa through rich fabrics, soft lighting and soothing earth tones. The arrivals lounge offers customers an idyllic setting in which to freshen up and re-energise first thing in the morning.
