Our Business Class lounges offer comfort and privacy allowing BusinessFirst customers to take care of business, conduct a meeting, make phone calls or just relax in pleasant surroundings. Attentive Continental concierge staff is on hand to assist with before and after the flight. On their return passengers have the use of Continental’s Arrival Lounge facilities at London Gatwick. Passengers arriving in regional airports have the use of complimentary shower facilities in nearby hotels.
Extra wide sleeper seats
On board, BusinessFirst offers a fully electronic sleeper seat with a 170° recline and provides each passenger with a spacious 2 meters of sleeping space (Boeing 777 aircraft only, the Boeing 767 and 757 aircraft feature a 156° recline). Every seat has its own multi-channel personal entertainment system with up to 16 video channels, 13 audio and 6 video games. For those wishing to work while they fly, there are laptop computer outlets and satellite telephones at every seat.
Gourmet meals
Our menus and wines are carefully selected to highlight local speciality food items. We serve a five-course gourmet menu with several options to choose from with fine wines and champagne. Should passengers wish to sleep or work during the meal service, they can take advantage of our Executive Meal Option that allows them to dine at a time of their choice.
Chaffeur driven limousines
BusinessFirst customers benefit from our complimentary Chauffeur-Drive* service on both sides of the Atlantic, getting them in and out of the airport quickly and conveniently. If however they have other arrangements for their airport transfers, they can choose one of the following complimentary services instead.
- A hotel room at selected gateway airports the evening prior departure.
- First Class rail tickets on the Gatwick Express or First Capital Connect to and from London.
The ultimate New York transfer - US Helicopter
In New York we offer an 8 minute helicopter transfer from Newark Liberty International Airport to either Downtown Manhattan Heliport at the foot of Wall Street or the East 34th Street Heliport. Arriving customers will have their baggage transferred automatically via US Helicopter to the Heliport. Departing customers may conveniently check in, receive boarding passes for US Helicopter and Continental Airlines flights and pass through security at the Heliport. No further screening is required at Newark Liberty International airport.
