About First Class Flights to China

First Class flights are ideal for travellers who want to enjoy every step of their journey with luxury amenities and premium services both onboard the aircraft and at the airport. Direct flights to China usually take between 10 and 12 hours; time that you can spend relaxing on a fully flat bed or enjoying on-demand entertainment on a personal screen.

Airlines that fly First Class to China

British Airways and Cathay Pacific fly from London Heathrow to Beijing and Shanghai. Qatar Airways operates routes to Shanghai only, while Emirates flies to both cities from London Gatwick, Manchester and Scotland airports.

We recommend

British Airways is one of the most popular airlines for passengers flying First Class to China. Make use of a generous baggage allowance and access to the prestigious Concorde Room at London Heathrow before boarding. During the flight, enjoy signature dishes and afternoon tea from the à la carte menu or catch up on some sleep in a fully flat bed complete with a quilted mattress and Egyptian cotton bedding.

Lounge access

First Class passengers arriving at Beijing will find dedicated lounges for Air China, Cathay Pacific and other airlines, and can also make use of the BGS Premier Lounges in Terminals 2 and 3. Shanghai Pudong Airport offers a wider range of lounge options, including the Air China First Class Lounge, Dragonair/Cathay Pacific Lounge, Emirates Lounge and Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge.
