Most British airports open
NATS has announced at 11h00 today that the no-fly zone will be further lifted.
The only UK airports to remain closed will be Belfast City, Londonderry, Shetland & Orkney. All other UK airports have reopened.
NATS has not given any indication of whether further disruption is likely later in the day or tomorrow. The current Met Office projections still point to a possibility of disruptions affecting South East England, Scotland & Northern Ireland into Tuesday.
We are working closely with the Met Office and with the CAA, which agrees no-fly zones based on Met Office data, and will issue any further notice on this website as necessary.
If you have suffered from flight cancellations, please do contact out Emergency Assist team on 0207 269 0577.
Our advice to customers who are waiting to depart the UK from affected airports, or the country where they are stranded, is to firstly establish if your flight is scheduled to depart before making your way to the airport.
