Flight Centre today announced the launch of its 'Fly For Free' guarantee.
Leading travel retailer ensures lowest flight prices in the market
If a customer can find a scheduled airfare cheaper elsewhere then Flight Centre will cover the cost of that airfare. The guarantee will ensure that customers will benefit from Flight Centre's unbeatable customer service and expertise, safe in the knowledge that they are also getting the best airfares in the market.
Steve Norris, Head of Marketing at Flight Centre, said: "We are so confident we offer the best value deals in the UK that we are prepared to put our money where our mouth is. If we can’t find a cheaper airfare – we’ll give customers the airfare for free. Add this to our Perfect Holiday Pledge and we’re convinced that we provide the best value holidays and customer service in the country."
The 'Fly For Free' guarantee replaces Flight Centre's 'Low Price Promise' and cements Flight Centre’s position as the price leader within the UK travel market. Flight Centre will ensure that its airfares will be at least equivalent to alternative offers found on the web (UK based) or via other UK travel agents for all airfares, including specials offered direct by an airline, student tickets and round-the-world combinations. The guarantee applies when Flight Centre can confirm the airfare is still available to be booked in the same cabin class as quoted by the competitor¹.
Flight Centre's commitment to providing unbeatable service extends beyond offering the lowest prices in the market. Flight Centre launched its 'Perfect Holiday Pledge' in December 2008, which gives customers the assurance of a holiday experience that will meet or beat expectations. Any customers who are not 100 per cent satisfied with their holiday will be given £100 towards their next Flight Centre holiday booking.
When booking a holiday with Flight Centre, customers also receive:
• Airline failure protection and ATOL. Holiday makers are financially protected if they book with Flight Centre. In the event of an airline failure Flight Centre will re-book customers on alternative flights or will offer a full refund. Flight Centre will also repatriate customers who are stranded abroad
• 24/7 Assistance. With over 2000 stores worldwide with a support network just as big, a consultant will always be on hand to offer advice and assistance at any stage of the booking process and throughout the customer’s holiday
• A personal travel expert to help customers create their perfect trip and offer advice and recommendations on the best times to visit desired locations, local events, places to stay, excursions and day trips
• Specialist expert teams, from luxury to cruise to round the world or student travel. Each of the teams are dedicated to finding the best travel deal for any destination on any budget
