Student Flights opens first dedicated store in London

Students in London can look forward to getting better deals on all their travel arrangements with the opening of Student Flight's flagship London store in the Euston Road. Student Flights launched in the UK last July and is looking set to become one of the main players in the specialist student travel market. The youth travel retailer now has four dedicated stores in the UK, including Bristol, Glasgow and Edinburgh, as well as seven dual-branded stores with Flight Centre, the company that owns the brand. The London Student Flights opened its doors on 20 January 2003, and is the second new store to open this year, after Glasgow at the beginning of January. Michelle Sliskovic, area manager for London, said the new Euston Road team will offer customers a complete travel service and could arrange everything from airfares and accommodation to tours, visas and insurance. She said the consultants in the store are all experienced travellers who will use their extensive knowledge to locate the best holiday itineraries, airfares and deals for students and backpackers. "The consultants know what it is like to travel on a budget and can, therefore, recommend the best ways to visit countries and their attractions," said Michelle. "Whether it's travelling to Europe, Nepal or Australia, our consultants can suggest itineraries including round the world itineraries, and provide lots of money-saving tips and advice." Student Flights, specialises in offering cheap worldwide travel to students and backpackers. A current fare from Student Flights from London to Bangkok is from £339 per person for travel up to 6 March 2003. A round-the-world ticket from London, including stops in Bangkok, Taipei, Sydney, Los Angeles and New York starts from £799 for travel up to 31 December 2003 and is valid for one year.
